This is an early 1900s H.W. Dressel soda bottle from Springfield, Illinois, a great example of the thick, heavily embossed bottles used by small-town bottlers during the 1890–1920 era. These straight-sided sodas were workhorses of the soft drink world washed, refilled, and delivered again and again which makes intact survivors like this far more desirable.
